Alphacool Apex 1 CPU Waterblock LGA 1700/1851

The Alphacool Apex series stands for maximum cooling performance, exceptional design and a high-quality selection of materials for special custom water cooling systems. The Alphacool Apex 1 is the first CPU water cooler in the Apex series and combines all the special features in a solid CPU cooler.

In the Intel version of the Apex 1 CPU cooler, the cooler covers the entire socket and CPU and thus also the hotspot of the CPU. This means that the CPU cooler achieves excellent cooling performance. Alphacool relies on the tried and tested Phillips technology and the 3D Jetplate 2.0, a further development of the 3D Jetplate. Its shape ensures higher water pressure. A pre-chamber in front of the 3D Jetplate 2.0 calms the incoming water and distributes it evenly over the 3D Jetplate 2.0 and the cooling fins underneath on the cooler base.

The lower part of the Apex 1 CPU cooler is made of a solid piece of copper. The connection part is made of brass and, like the copper base, is precisely CNC-milled from the respective material blocks. The cooler is assembled using an aluminum cover that covers almost the entire cooler. The aRGB lighting shines evenly through the fine Apex design elements on the top of the cooler. There is also another light element on the right side of the cooler, which emits diffuse lighting to the side, towards the RAM storage locations.

The Apex 1's heatsink was specially designed to cover both the CPU socket and the mounting holes, giving it an elegant, seamless look. Installation is simple: the cooler is placed on top of the mainboard, while the backplate is tightened from behind with screws.
