Alphacool Eisbecher Aurora D5 Acetal/Glass - 250mm Reservoir

The Alphacool Eisbecher Aurora expansion tank uses a real glass tube instead of the otherwise usual acrylic tubes. The embedded 5V digital RGB LED ring and the new design ensure a unique and elegant look. Of course, the Lighttower water effect is also on board. The installation can be done using feet but also directly on a 120 or 140mm fan slot or directly on a radiator.

Extensive installation options
There are two basic installation options that can be used in a variety of ways. The Eisbecher Aurora glass expansion tank comes with feet, for example for installation on the bottom of the case. The scope of delivery also includes mounting frames with which the Eisbecher Aurora can also be mounted on any 120 or 140 mm fan slot. This of course also makes it possible to mount it directly on the radiator or on the radiator's fans.

Digital RGB lighting
A total of 12 aRGB LEDs illuminate the glass tube of the expansion tank. They are arranged in a ring at the lower end of the glass tube and are not initially visible from the outside. The illumination is particularly strong at the bottom and gradually decreases towards the top. In combination with the Lighttower water effect, a very special type of illumination is achieved. Particularly through the reflections in the real glass. As with all Alphacool products, the digital RGB LEDs are connected via a 3-pin JST connector. Additional Alphacool digital RGB products can be connected directly via the Y-adapter.

Lighttower water effect
A special water effect is created in the Eisbecher Aurora via the riser tubes. If you do not fill the expansion tank beyond the upper edge of the riser tube, you get a kind of fountain effect. The water is pushed out at the sides of the riser tube and sprayed against the glass tube. The effect is stronger or weaker depending on the flow of the circuit. There is one riser tube with this effect at the lower inlet and one at the upper inlet.

This Eisbecher Aurora glass is compatible with all original D5 Xylem / Lowara pumps and all Alphacool VPP pumps.
